Our Sales Team is the tip-of-the-spear at Verve. Do you have a ‘land and expand’ approach to business development? Have you spent the last 10 years building a personal network of epic proportions? We are looking to add a Business Development Beast to our team of sales rock-stars. You bring an existing network, killer prospecting/hunting instincts, and a desire to help clients leverage the modern workspace to achieve technology greatness. As a Business Development Beast you are primarily responsible for hunting net new logos for the Verve IT family of clients and then mushrooming these new MRR relationships into revenue generation engines. In this role we expect you to act independently to connect with the movers and shakers in our region and leverage those relationships to engage decision-makers and close new business. You should be able to generate your own leads, quickly build professional rapport, identify sales opportunities, communicate effectively, and be a highly visible community pillar that others seek out with technology services needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of IT MRR sales processes, positioning, and products.
  • Lead generation by any means necessary
  • Aggressively engage leads rapidly with professionalism and intent to close
  • Identify, attend and lead community functions/organizations with the intent of improving our community and connecting with business decision-makers for the purpose of growing Verve IT
  • Work independently to meet or exceed net new sales goals as defined by leadership
  • Identify and document target account list.
  • Adhere to the sales process, including documentation of progress and accurate forecasting.
  • Conduct ongoing PBR’s & Road-mapping with assigned client base to identify sales opportunities
  • Take ownership of assigned client base to ensure ongoing retention and CSAT scores greater than 90%
  • Prepare and present client proposals
  • Understand the client's technical stack, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Adhere to standardized workflow and processes.
  • Provide input in the developing and executing of plans for brand development, client referrals, market awareness, and market positioning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology MRR sales
  • A personal network of key decision-makers in the Central Valley region
  • Exceptional listening and presentation skills with all audience levels
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured, limited oversight environment without losing focus on results

Compensation

Base + Commission DOE
