About You

How we sell is how we serve. Our Sales Team is the tip of the spear here at Verve and as an Account Manager you serve as liaison with our customers and represent Verve and our Core Values in every engagement.

Have you sold IT services, IT staffing, telecom, office machines, or similar products and services to small- and mid-sized customers here in the Valley?

Do you enjoy developing relationships, taking care of people, and identifying beneficial solutions that meet the real business needs of our customers?

Would you consider yourself more of a farmer than a hunter, and employ a consultative sales approach with customers?

Candidates should have:

  • Significant experience in technology sales and/or account management.
  • Ideally, a prior technical background in IT.
  • Exceptional listening and presentation skills with all audience levels
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, unstructured, limited oversight environment without losing focus on results

Description

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the care, retention and revenue growth of existing Verve clients. By regularly engaging with our customers, you will serve as the relationship lead to the client and as the internal advocate for the client at Verve. You are responsible for understanding each client’s unique environment, business needs, technology vision and internal motivations. Using this knowledge and your technical background, you will seek out ways to grow each client’s annual revenue with Verve and strive to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers on an established schedule to present opportunities, review performance, and assess customer satisfaction.
  • Develop sales and technology plans and budgets with our customers according to Verve Best Practices and ensure their successful execution over time.
  • Build relationships with our customers to facilitate trust and ongoing communication.
  • Provide oversight of our customers’ experience, including current and ongoing projects and support issues, and advocate for the customer with our Service and Admin teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain familiarity of our customers’ unique business needs and IT environments.
  • Review key customer and service metrics to inform our engagement with the customer.

Compensation

$75,000 - $100,000 Base + Commission, On-Target Earnings, depending on experience.
